Sneak Peek: Clubhouse at 1661 Forest Avenue Remodeled & Ready for 2021

By Home Services Expert

1661 Forest Avenue Clubhouse RemodelAmidst the challenges that we all faced in 2020, there were a few opportunities that presented themselves that we are grateful for. One is that we were invited to completely remodel the clubhouse at 1661 Forest Avenue, a Chico apartment complex.

The clubhouse is used by residents on a regular basis for gathering and community events, as well as for renting out to host everything from baby showers to retirement parties.

Our Experts team was able to go in and completely renovate this popular gathering space.

Renovations included a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen, as well as a full redesign of the main area, restrooms, new furniture, paint, recessed lighting and flooring. The new design opened up the vaulted ceilings, giving the clubhouse an open and spacious feel.

We broke ground in August of 2020 and completed the project just four months later in December of 2020. As soon as restrictions on gathering are lifted, it's ready for residents of the complex to enjoy. It's our hope that being able to walk into a completely renovated clubhouse will encourage and excite residents to use the space and bring their friends and families.

New Features

A few features include a 12’ glass wall that opens up to the pool area, expanded open kitchen and relocating the gym to overlook the pool. The next phase of this project will be to completely renovate and restructure the entire pool space to add outdoor cooking spaces, cabanas and have a resort like feel. Keep watch for this exciting project!

The project was designed by Mia Thornton, Experts own in-house design expert and the construction was led by project manager Tom Dowdy. Experts Carpenter Josh Perigini was integral to making this project look amazing and leading our field staff to the end.

When asked about the clubhouse improvement, the property manager at 1661 Forest Avenue said, “I love the updated clubhouse and our new modern kitchen space. I’m excited to show it to our current residents, and also anyone who is looking at 1661 as their next home.”
