The Hignell Companies is a family owned company that has been specializing in property development services and property management since 1948. Beginning the company in 1971, (started as Hignell & Hignell) The Hignell Companies sees the need to help others in the community while providing local services. But how do we show this?
Celebrate Employees
For the past 37 years, The Hignell Companies throws a Christmas party for its employees and their families. This fun event is used to share Jesus’ love by providing gifts from Santa, refreshments and more. This year’s event brought 89 adults and 59 kids to celebrate Christmas with the Hignells.
“The Kids' Christmas at The Hignell Companies is one of the highlights of our year. We are truly blessed and honored to be able to provide this great event to our team and their families," said Phil Larios (President and CEO of The Hignell Companies).
Every child (between the grades of 0-6th) that attended received a present, sang Jingle Bells and was read a special Christmas story that highlights the religious meaning of the holiday. The event was full of life, laughs and love.

The Community Impact Fund- is a Hignell program that was created to provide financial assistance for the community. This fund is available for community betterment, industry investment, social welfare, and Christian spiritual growth and transformation.

Selects a Major Initiative to care specifically for families in our own community. In 2014, we chose to partner with Habitat for Humanity.

Employee Care Fund-is available for our employees and their families. We provide grants that help with personal support, medical respite, educational scholarships and Christian spiritual growth and transformation.
